IMMEDIATE OPENING - WATER OPERATOR/FIELD TECHNICIAN

Del Oro Water Company is seeking a full-time WATER TREATMENT OPERATOR AND DISTRIBUTION TECHNICIAN for the BUTTE COUNTY, CA service area
Experience Preferred
The ideal candidate must be competent and experienced in:
- Surface water treatment plant operations
- Distribution field operations
- Water meter reading and installation
- Mainline and hydrant installation
- Leak repairs for services and mainlines
- Maintain buildings and grounds
- Have John Deere backhoe experience
Candidate MUST possess:
- D-2 certification
- T-2 certification
Candidate must:
- Be willing to obtain higher certification
- Be willing and able to perform heavy, manual labor in ALL weather conditions
- Be able to work independently
- Live or be willing to relocate to the Butte County CA, area
- Pass a physical and a drug test
- Provide a printout of their California Driver's License history
- Be willing and able to work on-call/standby hours
Salary/Benefits:
- This is a full-time position with starting salary range from $17.89 to $23.95 / hr depending on experience & certification
- Health, Dental, Eye Insurance for employee and family (after 60 days), paid by company
- 7 Holidays, Vacation (1 week after first year) and Sick Leave (accrued at 1/2 day per month)
