Monthly Service Charges 
The Service Charge is a Readiness to Serve Charge, which is applicable to
all metered water service and to which is added the charge for water used,
computed at the Quantity Rates below.

Emergency Water Supply Surcharge
As reflected in the memorandum account established in accordance with Advice Letter No. 159
(dated on or about July 10, 2007), a surcharge of $2.98 per service connection will be applied for
twelve (12) months from the effective date of Advice Letter No. 190 (August 21, 2008) to recover $13,478.63 for expenses incurred as a result of acquiring emergency water in 2007
(effective December 9, 2008, per Advice Letter No. 198)
.

Environmental Protection Agency Surcharge
A one-time surcharge of $6.53 will be billed over a period of two (2) consecutive months at
$3.27 per month to offset expenses resulting from water testing for January 1, 2007 through
December 31, 2007 according to the National Primary Drinking Water Regulations and the
Environmental Protection Agency (effective December 9, 2008, per Advice Letter No. 198).

California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) Reimbursement Surcharge

A 1.5% surcharge is required to be added to all customer bills, which is calculated
on all amounts due and forwarded to the Commission throughout the year.
