Service Charges
The Service Charge is a Readiness To Serve Charge,which is applicable to all
metered water service and to which is added the charge for water used,
computed at the Quantity Rates below.

Quantity Rate
For all water used, per 100 cubic feet                        $3.72

Interim Rate Increase Surcharge
A one-time reimbursement of undercollected revenues amounting to $29,942.81 are imposed as
a one-time surcharge of $39.66 per customer to be billed over twelve months at a rate of $3.30
per month per customer. If over-collection of funds occurs, a credit will be issued to the customer
(effective September 10, 2008 per Advice Letter No. 200).

Power Offset Quantity Rate Surcharge
The Quantity Rate is increased from $3.720 to $3.725 to offset increased power costs over the
amount authorized in Resolution W-4697. The increase will be reflected as a Power Offset
Quantity rate Surcharge in the amount of $0.005 per 100 cubic feet of water used
(effective November 13, 2008, per Advice Letter No. 205).

California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) Reimbursement Surcharge
A 1.5% surcharge is required to be added to all customers bills, which is calculated
on all amounts due and is forwarded to the commission throughout the year.
