Strawberry District Project Update (updated April 30, 2010) |
| IN PROGRESS: |
We are pleased to announce that, with over 91% of all Strawberry consumers metered, the Meter Installation Program is nearly complete. We hope to install the final meters in May, weather permitting. We would like to take this opportunity to recommend that all customers take the time to check all plumbing connections, as several customers have discovered pre-existing major leaks that went unnoticed prior to the addition meters. Also, on completion of your meter installation, your gate valve will be left in the same position in which it was found so that your efforts to "winterize” your cabin are not compromised. Del Oro appreciates the conservation efforts of all consumers and will be sending conservation tips throughout the remainder of the year. Meter Installation Photos

- The annual service charge applies to service during the 12 month
period commencing January 1 and is due in advance. If a permanent
resident of the area has been a customer of the utility for at least 12
months, the residents may elect, at the beginning of the calendar year,

shall be credited against the charges for the succeeding annual
period. If service is not continued for at least one year after the
date of initial service, no refund of the initial annual charges shall
be due the customers.
- In the event that a customer terminates service under this
schedule and reinstates service at the same location within 12 months,
there will be a reconnection charge equal to the minimum charges which
would have been billed had the customer not terminated service.

Schedule No. UF.
